The CPL announces the launch of a new CPL gaming portal and payback of unpaid prize money. Is this really happening, and will this classic event continue to produce material for new amazing gaming-movies?
It seems our most beloved tournament is slowly getting back on its feet, so if you're a believer this means the tournament that made the gaming-community what it is today will be getting a fresh new start, producing awesome movie-material like back in the old days.
The official announcement is located here
Let's reminisce with these old school movies. Made by Style-Productions of course.
CPL Winter 2005 - by Andreas and Pava
CPL Winter 2004 - by Pava
What do you think? Will CPL return? And if, will CPL be as legendary as it used to be?

sorry, had to post this.
TL;DR
CPL isnt really coming back, it was bought by an organization with literally no sponsors, who still have not paid off the previous holders of the name. They have announced several tourneys to try to spark interest but haven't followed through on any of them. It's a hoax
I've seen that blog-entry, and I'm also a bit sceptical to the whole thing, but today - today i'm a believer. Any if this is all a big hoax we should atleast hope that one day this marvelous event returns.
I saw the one by andreas and pava just now, and that outro always gives me the chills. Cheers!

The idea is cool. I'd still be hopeful for the future, but not soon it seems.
